How dynamic generative art works

What are layers?

Stacked image layers that compose each NFT — Background, Body, Eyes, Hat, etc. Each layer renders on top of the previous.

What are traits?

Each layer has multiple trait options. "Eyes" might have Blue Eyes, Green Eyes, Laser Eyes — each randomly assigned per NFT.

What are evolution stages?

Each trait has 4 versions of its art — one per stage. When the collection hits a milestone, all NFTs visually evolve simultaneously.

How many traits do I need?

3–8 layers with 4–15 options each. For 4 stages that's 4× the artwork — use the photo converter to auto-generate variations.
